• Used in Bacillus for Catalase production
• Positive (+) reaction: Bubbles

C => Oxidase

• Used with Neisseria
• Positive (+) reaction – blue black
• Negative (-) reaction – no change

D & E =>Voges - Proskauer reagents

• Used for Voges-Proskauer Test
• Alpha Naphtol
• Potassium Hydroxide

F => Methyl Red

• Used for Methyl red test
• Red is positive for acid
• Negative – no change

G => Kovac's

• Used for Indole production
• Positive (+) reaction – Red ring
• Negative (-) reaction – no change (no ring)
